Is this controller any good? and will it work with Pro Tools? i know behringer is crap generally, but if its just controlling the mix through midi then im not bothered!

Re: Behringer B-Control Fader BCF2000-WH ?
I've been using one for years. It works great. I've grown so accustomed to using it that I'm a bit lost without it now.
Only complaint that comes to mind is really just an inconvenience. There are no LED/LCD track names on the BCF2000. You have to very mindful of which track your working on! |

Re: Behringer B-Control Fader BCF2000-WH ?
Hey ive just been looking at the two posts that mention this controller and im wondering a few things.
What exactly are the difference in motorized and touch sensitive faders? is touch meant to allow you change automation while reading back automation or something like that? also are here any other similar controllers that maybe have an LED display, could get confusing to keep track of what track im on. also are there and bank controlls or do we just have to use scroll into view in PT? Thanks for any answers you can come up wiht, cheers, tbkbt |

Re: Behringer B-Control Fader BCF2000-WH ?
Touch automation will start writing automation once you touch the fader and will cease writing once you release. Only possible with touch sensitive controllers of course.
Touch sensitive faders are normally motorized, while not all motorized faders are touch sensitive. When using a HUI type controller, in your mix window, you will have 8 blue boxes around the track name area. That is how you can see which bank of 8 tracks you are operating on. As for individual tracks within that group of 8, you will have to keep your eyes peeled! |

Re: Behringer B-Control Fader BCF2000-WH ?
thanks for explaining that for me.
Yeh i found that out when we use the HUI on the DM200's in college, and on the nice icon we have too, wish I could afford one of them right now. So i think im definately going to go ahead an order one of these, around £120 here in the uk, not bad for 8 faders i think, was looking at just the alphatrack for the same price, also i dont need to control plugins etc from it so its perferct for me. Are there any other controllers in this price range that are decent that i should perhaps look at? thanks folks tbkbt |

Re: Behringer B-Control Fader BCF2000-WH ?
You guys know where to find a driver for this for Mac? Using PT 10.
The BCF2000 doesn't show in the peripherals, midi-controller setup... |
