Cursor visibility
Using ProTools 2020 on a PC w Windows 10. In my edit window, the cursor is almost impossible to see. I've increased the size and color in Windows' settings, but they don't carry into the PT edit window. If there's a setting to change that in PT, I haven't found it. Anybody know of a fix for this? Thanks. Pete

Re: Cursor visibility
Try messing with contrast and brightness on the monitor itself. That made a big improvement here. You can also open Mouse>Properties and set it to show when you hit the Ctrl key(hitting the key creates a little animated circle around the cursor so its easier to find). This gets even tougher when you have multiple screens and/or larger screens

Re: Cursor visibility
MacOS now has a handy "Shake to Locate" feature which temporarily makes the cursor large if you just shake the mouse or squiggle back and forth quickly on the trackpad. As monitors get larger and screen resolution higher I have found I need this more and more.
For Win10, albee mentioned the first thing to try above but there must also be some 3rd party extensions which would work, no? If the "Ease Of Access" settings aren't working in the PT edit window, Avid may be out of compliance and in some trouble! |

Re: Cursor visibility
Some good thoughts, guys. I have been using the CTRL magic circle thing. I use two monitors, so it helps when I can't find the cursor, but I can't keep hitting it while editing. The issue is specifically when I'm working within a track edit. When the cursor isn't on an object, it displays the tool in such a delicate way that its near invisible. Outside of a track, Windows settings take over and its fine. So its some obscure setting within PT, possibly one that can't be modified. I'll keep looking.
