I'm afraid re-counts and legal challenges are something we're gonna see more and more of.....I think the election challenges are here to stay because lawyers have figured out how to make money on them. What lawyers do best is to look for perfect victims.....a perfect victim for a lawyer is anyone who feels so passionately and/or desperate about something that they'll pay anything a lawyer asks, in order to get their problem fixed.

Our best recourse is to help a little in organizing like-minded voters, and simply overwhelm the ballot box so that a close race ceases to be close.

It never ceases to amaze me how people somehow have the energy to gripe all year long about how they dislike the way their government is run, and yet on election day, it's too much trouble for them to stop for a few minutes, and go vote!

Being a Californian, I'll be voting "none of the above" in the governors race.

Have you ever seen such a sorry choice?

actually, I am going to keep the vote talk to a minimum. these studio types around here will vote based only on what they have seen on MTV or read in Rolling Stone anyway. no one here knows what the bill of rights is, let alone the Federalist Papers . . . . . shudder.
