Mbox already install do I need to install the 003 too

I have been running a mbox on my iMac for a while.
I now have an 003. When I start it it says not finding Hardware
Do I need just a driver or reinstall all the disks that came with the 003
the mBox is already running 7.4

PT7.4 includes the drivers necessary to run the 003 interface. It should just be a case of swapping out the interface and resetting the default I/O.

What OS are you running? If it's Leopard, then a clean install of PT7.4.2 is required.

Unlike the Mbox series, Digi FW interfaces (including 003) are not multi-client. This means no other audio application can be open and use the interface when PT is launched. Do you have anything open (e.g iTunes, Safari etc) that might lock-out Pro Tools and cause this error? If so, quit these, and retry PT.
