Default Anyone ever done a physical repair to an ilok?

Hi,

Got an unorphaned ilok 1 with TC VSS3 reverb auth on it and its failed after a USB hub blew, the light just comes on faint and nothing will see it. Anyone know if its even possible to try and repair these or if it would even still auth if i did manage to transplant the chip into another ilok?

Haven't contacted ilok yet and they might be sympathetic even though its unorphoned and not registered to my account! has anyone ever tried this with ilok or have they just refused to help as its not registered to your account.

The same happened to me years ago, I contacted ilok and the told me I just had to send them the broken ilok and 50 bucks and they would send me a new one with my licenses on it. If you only want your licenses recovered to your account then they will give your 50 back once the process is completed.

Hi,

Was this an ilok not registered to your account? If so then great hope they’ll do the same for me
