Default Sns a/v san

Has worked well for me but I must sell everything.
Any idea to whom I could sell it to and for how much?
4 bay 36GB drives (available 300GB for 300 euros, these are enterprise class drives, not ATA), 2 user licences, dual redundant PSU 2GB throughput
would be ideal for a small Post facility
I thought of it as a tape machine, I almost stenciled the studer logo on it.
will play back 128 tracks per drive plus video, you can access it from 2 stations and back up simultaneously.
This is not a classified ad, just a feeler.

Robert, is that you? Are you getting out of the business?

The Studio Network Solutions A/V SAN consists of a 1RU, 4 slot, Fibre Channel JBOD enclosure. The slots accept native Fibre Channel hard drives-- super high quality hardware, not IDE or SATA! It has two 2GB fiber optic ports so two Pro Tools workstations can both connect to it. Using the SANmp software licenses (still current!) both workstations can mount and unmount any of the four shared disks.

Do you also have the Fibre Channel HBA cards? Users will need those to connect the optical cable to their computer.

By the way, this stuff will work with Mac AND Windows XP at the same time-- cross platform shared storage network for Pro Tools users!

This was state of the art stuff a few years ago, and we still have customers rocking on this kind of gear every day in professional facilities around the world.

Yeah, it's me. I'll be playing more, recording less.
I have the HBA cards that work in the G5 OSX 10.3.9.
Where would be the best place to sell this thing and what's a fair price?
I'm sure somebody needs this thing.

Value is set by the market. Possibly gearslutz.com classified forum would be a good venue to place this equipment with a new owner. It's a very workable systems and would be a great help for a two studio facility.

Good luck in your future activities.
