Default Error when quantizing!

Hi i'm trying to quantize elastic audio and i'm having problems all over the place, this is just one of them.
I get this error message when i try and quantize from an extracted groove template.

It says "could not complete the midi groove quantize command because assertion in..........." it mentions midi but i'm not trying to quantize midi? I make sure i select "audio" and not "midi" when extracting the template

I have never been able to quantize anything to a an extracted groove template whether it be elastic audio or midi, it just moves things to the strangest places nowhere near the correct transients. I always check that the markers are in the correct place. I just don't understand it, i've checked everything.

Any help would be appreciated.
