MP3 Export problems
have been using mp3 option for a few months now with no problems,but now i keep getting this error mesage
Assertion in "..\..\FF\Audio\FF_MP3 Plugin.cpp",line 271 have reinstalled M powered 8 and 8.04 update and Mp3 option has anyone got any idea how to get this fixed? Windows XP Pro AMD Dual Core 2.7 M audio 410 3 Gig Ram

You should try trashing preferences per the info in the General Troubleshooting thread - if that doesn't help, please see the Help Us Help You thread for details about what we need to know to assist further.

Thanks ,that seems to have done the trick although i am getting a 16 or 24 bit dropdown option on the export page (mp3)..... it does the export when 16 bit is selected,when 24bit is selected the same error occurs , no idea if this means anything...(musician not engineer)....if i have any more problems i'll come back with a sandra report etc..etc...
