Default How to keep timeline selection

Pro Tools 12.8.3 / Mac / High Sierra

Hello!

I have a larger session out of which I'd like to bounce several stems/submixes to disk. For this I want all bounces to start at the same point in time / in the session.

For the bouncing I make a timeline selection. However, if then I want to locate the playhead into the track to check if what I'm hearing is what I want to bounce (solos, mutes, routing) I lose the timeline selection. Is there a way I don't have to set it up for each individual bounce again?
The selection does not match the length of an audio clip and 'Link timeline and edit selection' or 'insertion follows playback' en/disabling won't help.

Thank you very much for your help!

Did you try Dynamic Transport?

Right Click the Play button and choose Dynamic Transport. You can set your timeline selection and move the play head around without losing your selection.

Another option is to save your selection as a marker location. Then you can always get back to it if you accidentally deselect it.
