I've read about a VSTi called Groove Agent and I suppose it works with the wrapper. Haven't tried it though.

Do you really mean that ??
-are you willing to carry his set ?
-are you willing to feed him, buying his beer, and let him crash in your studio ?
-are you willing to share your babe ?
-are you willing to give up full controll of your session/song/style /

Go ahead ...

I use Dr-008, which has both ReWire and RTAS support. It is <$100 It doesn't come with very many drum kits though (you download them from their web site). I found those other programs most people recommend to be too expensive for what I was trying to accomplish. I sequence drum patterns with my dr-660 then record to a midi track in PT. Works for me so far Have you tried out the ReDrum machine that is in Reason Adapted? That might work for you if you pick up some good drum samples to go along with it.
