OK thanks! IKR? Same here. I guess I didn't realize dot 12 was a beta? Or perhaps in reality it is?

OK, maybe you've been using the DSP version, whatever they call it, that runs on the HDX hardware? And now you've put a Native AAX on the track accidentally? When I put a Native iZ Breath Control plugin on a track, it gives over a half second of latency, far more than PT is capable of compensating for without dedicated DSP.

Waves DeBreath also has massive latency.
Using it in realtime Is completely out of the question.

from someone else's post above "No Beta testing for free." I thought it was a reference to whether or not they did test it before releasing and/or it was just some light humor? If they did test it how did this slip through?

Default Re: Vocal Delay when using DeBreath Plugins

Back to v2018.10.0 now, and the same delay issue.

I've been on 2018 for 9 months. I have NEVER had an issue running Waves DeBreath in real time. My iMac is decent but nothing special, 3.2GHz quadcore, 32GB RAM--but my 2.4GHz quadcore w/16GB RAM would run DeBreath without delay. None. Not even a little.

Sorry I'm not the best historian or troubleshooter, more of a simpleton until something breaks--but surely SOMEONE has had this same experience? I'm not on DSP or whatever, just plain old PT out of the box, with no extra "letters" like TDM HD or DSP.

Again just trying to get to the bottom of this. At this point I can't use either debreath plugin? Wish, now of course, I never updated.

Wondering why I ran DeBreath without any perceptible delay until I bumped up to 2018.12.0??? Just weird man... Now it's still there after downgrading. #Ugh.

Not sure how it was working in the past. Here's a video that shows the same scenario with DeBreath that you are describing and it is normal for high latency plugs,

I no longer run Waves plug-ins, but when I did, I could NEVER run DeBreath in real time.
