Help finding Mbox 2 Pro Drivers
Been having a problem with a crackling and popping on playback of guitar tracks.
As part of the fault finding I have managed to lose my Mbox 2 Pro drivers. Now getting a message when I try to start PT saying 'Unable to locate Digidesign hardware' Tried to download from the AVID site the Mbox_2_Pro drivers (7.3r2) but no joy, same message as above. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.  Running Pro Tools LE 8.0.5 on a Mac running 10.6.8

Drivers are available here: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/download/en379411 under the legacy section. You're sure you have the "Pro"? The Mbox 2 Pro is firewire, the normal Mbox 2 and the Mini are USB.
If it is the firewire version, have you ever hotplugged the Mbox? Do you have another computer you could test it on? Joel

Hello Joel,
Many thanks mate, much appreciated. Installed the 10.3.3 version of the driver and it's back up and running, it also seems to have cured the original distortion problem I was having on playback. Thanks again.
