Hard drive crashed, lost Waves Gold Bundle v5 and Tune Lite

I recently had my hard drive crash and was able to reinstall all my programs but my Waves Gold v5 (I had purchased v4 and upgraded online, a service they no longer offer for anything before v6) is lost and gone forever. I also had Tune Lite, which I use quite a bit for various projects.

Does anyone have a Gold Bundle v5 for sale that will work with:

Computer: PowerMac G5 (PowerMac 7.3)
OS: 10.4.11
Pro Tools: HD 7.4cs10

Why don't you contact waves and ask them for the installers? Have you checked if the license is in the iLok?

Unfortunately, that was the first thing I did. They no longer support v4 or v5, and have even "disconnected from the iLok server" (what the tech support rep said). I do have the license in my iLok, all I really need is Gold Bundle installers to get it up and running.

I will definitely not be using Waves when I do a complete system upgrade (new Pro Tools, Computer, Hardware). This was a pretty bad experience, they kept trying to upsell me. I know that's their job... but they don't even have v5 installers... really? I doubt that's true.

One of the biggest issues Waves had in supporting the V5 Gold bundle was that someone had cracked it and flooded the internet with it...

It cost Waves a lot of money.

The good news is; if you update, and catch a sale, its possible to BUY the latest Gold bundle for $148(what I paid for it a year ago from Dontcrack.com) I seriously thought about dumping Waves, but some great deals made me reconsider(and honestly, some of their plugins just work for me in ways I can't seem to duplicate)

After a few more calls to Waves... this time to the Sales dept and not the Tech Support dept, it looks like they will be able to help me. I'll know in a few days... thanks for chiming in everyone.
