Default Prebuilt PC machine
Hey, I want to buy over 20 PCs. We have mixing rooms with PT. Mostly to mix songs and video postproduction.

Can anyone recommend me prebuilt PC? The best would be from big companies like Dell or Lenovo.

Why pre-build? Because we want one spec everywhere, and that's a requirement for our sponsor. (Easy to service by 3rd party company etc.).

Requirements:
- silent (can have fans)
- So maybe not so high CPU TDP
- reliability (we will expand in the future as a company)
- Great CPU performance
- GPU can be integrated (but able to handle 4k footage)
- at least 32 GB RAM
- 1TB storage

up to 2000$

Sorry, just noticed you're in the UK, so an American based Pro Tools computer builder may not be the one for you. Perhaps this Avid article will help.

Mac Mini - noooo (Windows only)

I was thinking about something like an XPS desktop, The only thing I'm disappointed about is no AMD option...

FYI, Avid only tests Windows on Intel CPUs. Some have successful AMD based computers, but not many here on the Forum.

Go with Intel 13th Gen. Dell XPS is good, but I'd look at Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Ultra Workstation.

Devil is in the details, but I still recommend this. You know what you get. If something needs to be replaced, this one is easy.

Maybe HP or Dell, etc. can be cheaper to buy but when you need to support all that piece of c...andy it becomes expensive.
