Are there any PT versions no longer supported?

Does anyone know if there is a cutoff for support in any PT version? As in I (buy a support code and) call customer support, explain I am having a problem with PT version x, and they reply "we're sorry, we no longer support PT versions before version y."

Thanks for any insight...
