Mbox 2 mini - No output out of right channel?? Help!

Purchased an mbox 2 mini recently and after installing everything on my intel imac i discovered i could only get output out of the left channel. The right channel, if i turned it up really loud, i could get a slight sound but very distorted.
I tried coming out of the headphone jack as well but this also wouldn't work. Im going to take it into sound control later to test it but i wondered if anyone knew of this fault? Is it software? or hardware??

What are you playing back? If you setup a master track, do you see both meters light up? Are you sure you didn't accidentally record a mono signal (like a single mic or guitar) onto a stereo track?

I have the same problem. My Mbox was working fine and suddenly the right channel stop working (only if I turn it up really loud you can hear it slightly).
This has happened for all outputs on the interface (front/headphones & back/main outs). Is not a DAW routing problem because I'm testing it with music played in quiktime/VLC on my macbook as well.

I have no technical support here where I live in Peru so before sending it for reparation I wanted to ask if anyone knows what could the problem be?

Any help would be very appreciated.
