Try clicking the EUCON button so it's lit up (which means EUCON is enabled) and see what color the circle is below the EUCON button.

To be precise: the green Eucon rectangle was always on, the dot was dark. After 4 complete de- and reinstalls of PT and Eucon, as well as several de- and re-enablement of permissions in System Settings (using Minus- and Plus+ to delete and re-connect Eucon, PT, and MC), Eucon suddenly worked. For me, PT is rapidly becoming untenable as a professional tool and, for software that is perpetually unusable, far too expensive. I have been using various DAWs for over 20 years, and I have NEVER encountered a product which is not only overpriced, but a perpetual construction site. I realise that complex configurations and ever shorter OS development cycles brings challenges, but I am not bound to the standards of large companies doing music, film etc. so I think the moment is rapidly approaching to leave the Avid ecosystem. We have invested a very serious amount of money in Avid products, which perform at a very high level when they actually work. But the downtime has reached critical mass, and we do not feel that Avid is capable of supporting us reliably. We have already begun the migration to other DAWS but this will probably take some time. I am extremely dissapointed that the problems with PT have essentially never stopped, and that Avid still somehow feels it is ok to charge substantial amounts of money for services and products that are not adequate for our needs.

Wanted to report here that the issue of avid control disconnecting seems to have reappeared with this version of eucon. Using eucon in rosetta mode causes fewer disconnects. This is really similar behaviour to a bug that was present a few versions back.

Have you gone into EuControl Softkey Editor and deleted the snapshot key labels? You have to do this before they start to work again. Also, if you have saved an Appset in this state and load it the issue will reappear.

Ever since this update, the control app crashes when either deleting a track or making it inactive. If I immediately make another track inactive right after, it won't crash, however after waiting ~10 seconds it will crash again on the next inactive / delete action.

Eucon, Avid Control, iPad and PT are all up to date running on Win 10.
