Send polite and constant short emails here: http://ir.avid.com/contactBoard.cfm

Do the same and fill the in box here: http://www.linkedin.com/in/louishernandezjr

Most importantly let's get these guys: http://www.pro-tools-expert.com on our side by urging them to post stories.

I sent Russ a link to this direct thread but he has not mentioned anything at all.

I've told the guys at Pro Tools Expert a few times about this but no acknowledgment until their last podcast.
Even then they seem to either not know much or care.
This is a real show stopper don't you all think?

I'm working on Cubase 7.5 or Logic X unless I have to use PT10
My group "The Whispers" is using Ableton Live to run the show.
Ableton is very compelling!
Most of the guys in the group use Logic X.

I want my money back for PT11 upgrade on the grounds of false advertising.
I am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
Maybe if enough of us do we will get either our money back or Avid will have to do something.
Here's a link...

It is if you're writing with multi-out VIs. If this was happening in Logic or Cubase it would be fixed. The mass of PT users are engineers, mixers, post. I think. It's a back burner deal if so. My thoughts I guess. I can't imagine any other reason to be so whatever about it. I use VIs daily so...

I agree that it's lame for Avid not to have fixed this but there is a workaround described earlier in this thread that works just fine.

Put the VI on an audio track and your midi on a midi track and route it to the VI.

Multi outs are correctly compensated this way when routed to aux tracks.

I hope they fix this but I'm glad I can continue working in 11.

Thanks to the guys who figured this out btw

I do the bypass auto report on all Audio and Instrument tracks WA. Works good enough. I have pretty big sessions, 100 midi and audio tracks ;P Remembering to change the number every time you add or remove plugs is annoying. Still not super confident in ADC though. I don't even bother with offline bounce because of it.

Wanted to let you all know we are aware of this, it's logged and currently with Engineering. There are other threads about this where moderators have participated and passed info on to us, sorry for the lack of participation in this thread. (We'll likely merge threads as well as entries on IdeaScale to focus these reports.)

Thanks,
JC
