Opening 5.0 session in PT9
I recently did a session in a studio that was running PT 5.0 MixPlus. (OS 9.1)
At the end of the session the studio owner/engineer did a "save session as" and we then copied the results to my hard drive. Well now I'm attempting to open the files in PT9 and, surprise!, I'm having issues. Most of the audio files show up as Unix Executable Files. And PT does not seem to know what to do with the session file (which, btw, appears to be zero KB). I plan to head back to the studio and transfer audio via lightpipe from his rig to mine BUT, I'd rather just open up the files. Any thoughts? Thx [I tried to do a thorough search in the posts for this topic. Apologies if it's covered elsewhere.] |

Re: Opening 5.0 session in PT9
Is it from a Mac to a PC or Vise Versa? Make sure you enforce Mac/PC compatibility in the Save a Copy options window.

Re: Opening 5.0 session in PT9
you should not have a zero kb file if it was saved correctly.
It should work. |
