Antec Nine Hundred?
Newegg has this case on sale right now for $65 shipped:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129021 Good choice for a new W7/i7/8.04 build? I kinda wish it had an external ESATA port, but not a deal breaker. Thoughts? Thanks !!!

Re: Antec Nine Hundred?
I know this case.
Its a gamer's case meaning many fans = loader than avarage. I also dont like the looks, but its up to you. Overall a good case for the money, though I prefer Solo or P183 Also If your into these type of gamer cases look at CoolerMaster 690 II.

Re: Antec Nine Hundred?
I've this exact case.
Depends on what you'll be sticking in there. I've 4 HD's, SIIG Firewire card, Vid card, and a mammoth CPU fan (had no idea it would be as big as a go-kart engine). So, it's a bit cramped in there. Swapping out drives is a bit cumbersome. Also, the CPU fan (COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP) is a smidge too big for the case, or the case to small for it. lol. You may want something roomier if you can help it. My cilents sure seem to be smitten with it though (the blue colored lights I guess).

Re: Antec Nine Hundred?
I have this case. I bought it thinking it would be great for cooling my quad core / 8800gt. While it does cool well and the drive bays are modular, I can't recommend it for audio.
A) because everywhere has holes (front back sides and top) you get a lot noise leakage. B) with a full atx motherboard, the case gets cramped quick. Ihave 4 hard drives and two optical drives and have to a bit of tear down to remove or replace any of the drives. C) cable management is zero to none. |

Re: Antec Nine Hundred?
If you want a GREAT case for a new build, look into the lian li a71 series. $200 but sooo worth it. My next case is going to be an a71

Re: Antec Nine Hundred?
Well, I never imagined choosing a CASE would be this difficult. Maybe I should splurge and get a nice 4-space rack mount...
