I know this has already been posted a couple of times on here, but what is the ETA on the software update for the Dshow and Profile people?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the radio silence on this, I know you've all been waiting patiently for an update.

The short answer is that the release of version 2.8.1 for systems using FOH Rack or Mix Rack has been delayed to allow for further development and testing, until it measures up to our release standards. We found a few bugs late in the game that we felt required immediate attention, so we're going to take the time to fix them properly. Unfortunately we can't predict how much time this will take, so we ask for your understanding and continued patience while we work on this.

Fortunately these issues do not affect VENUE SC48, so version 2.8.1 has been released and is now available for download for all SC48 customers.

I had a dream last night... I was able to have 32 auxes on my D-Show console with the upcoming update...

Yeah, unfortunately busses on the D-Show systems are physical not directed in software like in PT, otherwise Sheldon and company would have added additional busses way back in '05-'06. Would be nice though.
