And classical instruments are often used to play classical music, but that doesn't mean they can't be used for other genres.

Looook. I get it. Soundblaster cards were definitely a thing of yesteryear and mostly used for gaming, but that doesn't make them bad. The electrical components are dumb; they don't know gaming from recording. Sound is sound.

And they still sound like crap. Quality audio and Soundblaster are on opposite side of the spectrum.
