do anybody knows how to fix this

could not create a new document because assertion in /volumes/development/code/203409/Pro Tools/DFW/views/UMenu.MacOS.mm" line 1639

It has nothing to do with OS version it's a playback engine related problem. Covered many times on DUC and elsewhere before.

You can Google for error message in future before posting a question to save wasting time. And you'll find stuff like this...

The problem is normally caused by having a playback engine selected that does not include an output device. Avid could have provided a user-friendly error message instead of allowing this cryptic assert to fire. They've ignored fixing this issue for years....
