Don't feel I got good value in the last period after a year of bug fixes, and no sign of the promised HDX extra voices. (an announcement is a promise with an ongoing subscription model)

With the old model.. you could skip a version.. did this all the time!

AVID, can we please have a three month holiday option in the service?

Happy not to have bug fixes.

That sucks. How much is it to renew plan? Does the sub model work out vastly more expensive overall?

Totally agree I renewed my support plan, in December, AVID says folder tracks are coming, ok when? You get maybe one update, if lucky with a subscription, this is why I use Nuendo, it has everything we are asking for and more,I suggest you try Nuendo, it is a very powerful program, and now that we are working from home, and not in some company's edit bay with ProTools, you should really consider trying it

Even supports Eucon. I’m switching in July.
Verry sad to have to leave Avid but it’s just not worth it.

Rest assured there will be a PT 2020 subforum once 2020.x is released

I hope that AVID deliver what they promise on time, we are at the end of the Q and nothing in the horizon yet.

I get this, this is why i have moved to S1 and reaper...but the truth is pro tools is very convenient. Plus there are a number of things it does very, very well.
Automation, editing, fades, general workflow. Love how it does groups and window configs. It's tough.
Do you still deliver your work in PT?

The subscription plan is double the price!
$399 vs $799

It would be so simple for Avid to explain what's going on with the 2020 version... We would understand, at least if that is reasonable. But silence is the worst thing. Silence is a kind of provocation and contempt. This goes against all business and marketing advice. It's incomprehensible.

Nuendo does this and more, conform audio, video edits can be seen. ARA integrations, folder tracks to many features to list here if you have some time you should give it a spin, like any new program it takes time to learn, but it is well worth it, plus I'm using an Avid Dock and S1 with it, and the whole system works great, and if you need to find tempo maps or complex chord progression, it is very deep in that as well
