Default Weird error message after initial install...

Hey all,

Im running pro tools ten, and im having a weird issue...after running the install dmg and the VI update dmg, im getting the following error message:

"Could not create a new document because Assertion in " /Volumes/Development/ws.Ludwig/AlturaPorts/DFW/Macbuild/../Views/UMenu.MacOS.mm", line 1350."

I have absolutely no idea what this means. anyone got an idea?

A frsh install is not the answer by the way, have done it repeatedly and have also trashed preferences etc. many times.

Hi,

Have you tried starting a session on a different drive?

Also make sure there are no illegal characters in the disk path that you are creating your session on! stuff like £$@? etc
