Slaving Logic X to PT10 via Network (Ethernet)
Hey Everybody,
I've decided to use my MacBook to run a slaved Logic (X) session to handle my heavy processing Komplete 10 Ultimate needs while I run a video-based session on my iMac in PT10 (since my PT11 "doesn't like" running the video engine; I'm sure you're all aware of that problem). I feel like I've come pretty close setting up both machines to talk, but I'm getting an error that says "refused the connection request". Anybody out there have any experience running a PT to Logic sync? Also, has anyone figured out the earliest configuration of PT and OS X that runs without the video engine error? Thanks!

Re: Slaving Logic X to PT10 via Network (Ethernet)
this older thread may help.
Help Slaving Logic Studio to Pro Tools Edit: Just noticed you are trying to do it via Ethernet. That thread doesn't do that. |
