Default Update Check on every startup

Hello everybody,

I'm new to this forum, but work with Pro Tools for around 8 years.
When updating Pro Tools (german version) to 10.3.5 on my Macbook Retina I always get the message that my system is up to date on the startup. Even when I uncheck the box "check for updates on every startup", next time it comes up again.

Can anybody give me a hint?
Thanks in advance,
Horst

There are a few threads here regarding this and you need to delete the auto updater file but as I can't remember where that file is right now hopefully you can search for it on your computer ir here on the forum. You just throw it away, i also remembering that the file will be in two different places so make sure you delete both..someone asked how they will know when there are updates for PT if they delete this files and Insaid they will know about it either here on the forum or at other forums. Just check in sometimes and see if there are new updates, they are not that frequent so you won't miss anything by deleting the update files

Best Regards
Christopher
