My solution until 64 bit Windows 7 drivers are released.
Honestly... I only use about 5% of the capabilities of ProTools LE 8.0. My recordings never have more than five tracks and use very few plug ins.
Here's my contingency plan until the Windows 7 64 bit drivers are tested and released. I'll record my tracks on my Zoom H4N digital recorder. I'll import the WAV files into Audacity for editing. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Now the question is, will Audacity work on Win 7 64 bit. |

Yes. Though, I've found it to be a bit more unstable than expected. In XP Audacity never crashed, but I've had 2 or 3 full crashes already in w7x64.
