Default Plugin Automation Suspend

Hi there!!

So basically I have a project in which I have to do some EQ work on each region.
I select the region, suspend, tweak the EQ and then Write to all Enable. So that for me works fine.

My question is: in order to tweak the EQ on that track, I need to be on the suspend mode. What if on track number two I have already tweaked another region that plays at the same time? My problem is that I can't hear the final result of my tweaked region on track number 2 whilst I tweak the region on track number one to get a similar sound. With suspend mode on I'm not listening to the other plugins' work.

Is there any way I could do this?

Thank you very much!

Put the track you wish to tweak into touch, then turn on preview, tweak away then hit write to all enabled.

At least that's how I do it, there are probably many ways to skin this particular cat.

I do this by using Preview Mode also. I always have my tracks in Touch/Latch so I just get the setting I want on the plug in and either Write To Selection or Write To End, whatever I need.

Now if Avid would let us have a Preview All Except Volume...
