Default Melodyne Activation code

Hello,

I've got a problem, because i can't activate the melodyne essential plug in, which came whit Pro Tools LE 8... I know that the code is shown when you register your version, but i didn't recognize it. And it seems to me that there's no chance to get any contact with the avid service, which could maybe give me the code... So what to do now?

thanks

Michael

Try contacting Melodyne directly.

With my new Mbox Mini, I registered my code from the yellow card on the Avid site, and it gave me a key for Melodyne. I then created an account with Celemony (on the myCelemony link on their website) and activated the code on my Avid user profile, and it upgraded me automatically to Melodyne Essential.

Is there a charge for this? I noticed it on Youtube and thought it would be cool to try out.

Personally, I would simply buy the latest Melodyne Editor. Its an awesome plugin and will allow you to fix and tune things that will shock you(like fixing bad 4 part harmony on a single track)

Frank, I don't think the free Melodyne plugin has been included with Protools for quite a while now.
