Default PT HD 8.1.1 randomly speeding up

I am using the new HD i/o on an XP system with a single HD core card. Occasionally I will hit play and the audio will play fast and random, as if it has lost sync or something. This happens about 3 or 4 times in an 8 hour session. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm trying to determine if it is the new interface or my computer. Thanks.
