Behringer X32 & Pro tools 11 issue

I just loaded pro tools 11 to my Dell computer (which has Windows 7 Professional os). After connecting the X32 with the computer via USB cable and trying to boot up pro tools11, I get an error message that says "Pro Tools can't locate hardware turn on hardware and press OK". I have the Behringer x32 turned on, configured and checked the XUF card. All seems to be correct. I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong or if I have a software issue. PLease help.

So is the X32 the audio device? have you installed the drivers for the X32?

Im not even sure the X32 can be an audio interface personally but will assume it can be.

in the setup>playback engine. is the X32 assigned as the audio engine/interface

To expound a little on what Chris offered, try holding the "N" key while opening Pro Tools as that should take you directly to the audio engine page so you can select the X32 to be the audio engine(without the driver, it likely will not be available)
