Switching from MBox2 to Fast Track Ultra 8R?
I´m using PT 7.4.2, MBox2 on a MacBookPro (2,26 GHz, 4GB RAM, firewire external disk) but I need more inputs for recording drums and I have been looking at the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R.
How does the M-Audio compare to the MBox2 regarding latency, sound quality, stability etc? Will I be able to open and work further with the sessions I have created in PT 7.4.2? According to the Digi site it´s possible to do it the other way around. Plug-ins that came with PT and plug-ins that I have purchased, will they work for M-Powered? Thanks in advance! This has probalby been covered before but I can´t seem to find any readily available answers. |
