assigning send causes crash

[bavc]

i'm running PT v6.9.2cs2 on a Dual 2.7 GHz G5 running OS 10.4.2

whenever i try to assign a send to a mono or stereo bus, ProTools crashes. this happens with mono or stereo sends on stereo source tracks and mono sends on mono source tracks.

i've done the usual deleting of prefs and repair of permissions but the problem persists. any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

You definately, definately trashed ALL the Digi.DAE and pro tools prefs! rebooted and then loaded PT.

Trashed all the Digi data base files!

Safe installl option on the CD installer under custom install select uninstall reboot then reinstall, using safe uninstall will leave all non Digi stuff and then just reinstall PT and youre off, all fresh and ready to go in 3-4 minutes.
