Beat Detective Moving Clips
Hey all. So this has been an issue since at least PT8 or 9. When using beat detective any clip that is butted up to the right of the clip you are editing will move right when you hit conform. If the clip isn't touching the clip you are conforming, it won't move.
I am running PT12 Native but like I said, this has been an issue for many years on multiple systems. I've just always dealt with it and figured maybe it would get fixed in an update. I'm starting to believe it either won't ever get fixed or I have some preference on that says, "Randomly move adjacent clips when conforming with beat detective". I made a clip of the issue. Link below. Didn't feel like hookup up the mic so it's a silent film, but it's self explanatory. The second half shows that even if I don't separate the hits and just hit conform with the clip selected, it still moves the clip behind it. adaM https://www.dropbox.com/s/f4rw9r7r3h...Clips.mov?dl=0 |
