Default Original MBox and Windows 7. Are the compatible?

Has anyone got the original Mbox to run on windows 7? Whenever i connect it, I cant find the drivers for it. I can locate the drivers for every digidesgn product except for the original Mbox.

Win7 needs 8.0.3 and the original Mbox does not work past 8.0.1 so its a no go.

No, but mine works flawlessly with XP(sp3) and PT8(initial release)

I have yet to see a reason to upgrade PT and as I mentioned before - I'm running it hard with 48tracks w/plugins + video. It has given me zero problems

I have windows XP fully tweaked for audio, and it still beats Vista/7 as far as latency/compatability is concerned. When every single VI company supports 7, then I will make the move

I tried and failed miserably. Currently waiting on my Mbox 2 so I can actually use Win7 64.

Just be aware, while some guys can get it to work, others, like me, have not. It's the world of Pro Tools I'm afraid.
