Avid Space is not true stereo :-(

Thanks for confirming Space is still broken.

Does anyone have any specifics regarding the bugs? It'd be great to know more details so that if the plugin is only partially broken, I can check my sessions with Space instantiated and assess the impact!

Obviously looking to move away from Space now (as it sounds like many others have already done sadly), but hoping to salvage my sessions which already use Space.

Fwiw liquid sonics reverberate has been great. And the new version with fusion IR's is even better.

Make sure you're using stereo to stereo ir's.

The last time an Avid dev worked on the code for Space, there were some routing issues that didn’t get worked out. Basically, stereo-stereo configuration is convolving both sides with both the left and right stereo impulse responses which is mixing them together when it shouldn’t.

That almost sounds like LiquidSonics Reverberate 2's true stereo mode.

As someone mentioned. A good workaround is to use two mono to stereo instances and load mono Left to stereo and then mono right to stereo.
The Samplicity Bricasti library has that kind of files. No need for converting either, just load.
