I don't know for sure- I have used the Focusrite card but not in the same system as HDX so I don't know if it has any issues I need to know about.

Should be fine, neither is using a lot of PCIe bandwidth and the new Mac Pro has plenty to spare. But if you’re worried make sure you can return it ��

Definitely! I mean, it's not cheap, and had the MTRX Studio been available that may have been a better option for me (although it lacks AES I/O). Otherwise, only good things to say :)
