Long Pause while loading, searching for wave files
I have searched, but don't find anything on this problem. It's not that big a deal, just a nuisance..... When I fire up LE 5.1 for the first session of the day, when it looks for the audio files, it pauses for maybe a full minute, then it finishes loading. As long as I don't exit Pro Tools completely, every other session opens up immediately without the pause. Any ideas?
LE 5.1.1 Win98SE AMIII PIII 450 128 meg Ram WD 10 gig system drive WD 40 gig audio drive I also have PTF loaded on a laptop and I do not run into this same pause issue with PTF... Thanks, bilco

The waveshell always takes a long time to load...no matter what system you're on. If you have waves plugins, expect to wait when pro tools launches.
