888/24 Legacy No Metering

Does anyone out there know how to get the metering per channel to display on the 888/24-interface hook through the 192-legacy interface port during input recording? I get metering through the 192 16 inputs but no input metering with the legacy 888/24 interface but do get sound… Need some help!

My setup:
Mac G5 Dual 1.8 3G Ram Protools HD3, Interface 192 with Exp to 16 inputs and a 888/24 legacy 8 more inputs:
