PT5.0 / Quicktime / 48K AIFF Import Problem
I converted an mp3 to 48K AIFF (16 bit) with QTPro 4.1.2. It plays back fine with the QT Player. Then imported it into ProTools (16 bit project), the resulting SD2 has a massive click at the top of the sample.
Also tried to export from Quicktime using the "24 bit integer" codec. The resulting file after being imported into ProTools (24 bit project) was hash. Any ideas on this?? |

Re: PT5.0 / Quicktime / 48K AIFF Import Problem
Well, I guess the big click is what's left of the MP3 codec header... dunno how to get rid of that: you have any other players that would convert from MP3... SoundApp ? What happens then ?
