I was hoping someone could tell me. The lines about Avid's "large ecosystem" and how "you need to optimize the lifetime value" have me shaking my head.

Is there anyone who can translate his marketing-speak into English for the rest of us?

I felt the same way when I attended the Sony presser at the NAB. Stringer used all the right buzz words and didn't say anything.
