PT9 Crossgrade Eligible?
After reaching breaking point with incompatibilities and hardware difficulties with Tools 8 on my Windows 7 PC I'm considering biting the bullet and buying the new PT 9.
I'm wondering if anyone knows whether my purchase of a 003 Rack with PT7.3 a few years back will see me eligible for the crossgrade? I've combed the Avid support site for info regarding this but not found anything but difficulty when trying to navigate the site. Any assistance is much appreciated. Cheers

Yes, you'll be eligible for a crossgrade with an 003, assuming the serial number hasn't already been used for a crossgrade.

Well said above, but then there's the bit about "incompatibilities and hardware difficulties". Pro Tools 9 won't automatically solve those issues. What exactly are they? You might want to include a Sandra report as described in this thread: Help us Help You - READ THIS Before Posting!
