BUG: Multiple output assignment key combo broken…

A keyboard combination I rely on heavily does not seem to work anymore (Mac).



I generally send my drums to two subgroups for parallel processing: one called "Drums" and the other called "Drum Crush". Normally I select my drum tracks and while holding Shift-Option I select the "Drums" subgroup. This assigns all the drums to the "Drums" subgroup. So, far, so good. To assign the same drums to the "Drum Crush" subgroup in addition to the "Drums" subgroup I hold down Shift-Cntl-Option and select the "Drum Crush" subgroup. After installing 12.8 HD this no longer works. I can assign each track individually by holding Shift-Ctl but the "Opt" option doesn't work.



Is anyone else experiencing this or recreate this bug?

on Vanilla 12.8 here ... and i can reproduce 100%

and in 12.7.1.733 this works fine ..

i will send this in to the Authorities !!!!

Shift + Control + Option -to assign additional output or bus to all selected tracks... is working here. PThd12.8.0 MacOS10.12.5

hi Bruno .. i have same OS10.12.5 and PT12.8.0.864 (non-HD) and i cannot get it to work here ... thats odd that you can ..

tossed prefs and restarted .. same thing ..

tested in a BLANK Session .. not working ..

Yep. Same here. Trashed prefs and still no go.
How does one bring this up to Avid? This is a serious (though non lethal) bug.

Just reporting what I'm seeing -tried a bunch of options assigning to additional outputs, assigning to additional buses assigning to both additional outputs and buses (mono,stereo).... Seems to be working fine on this system at least.

Are other +option modifier keys working for you guys?

may i ask what computer you have that this is working on ?? might be one of the differences .. this cannot be a preference !!!
