Default Enable ProTools LTC Master/Slave mode for internal sync in PC

We have a hard time to get a stable sync connection between ProTools and other timeline oriented audio software, like MixBus nor via MTC or Midi Beat Clock nor via the actually best option: which would be LTC.

First we are not finding any LTC settings in ProTools itself to receive any LTC signal and second we do not get any stable run of any other protocols going. And if by chance we hit a spot: It sometimes works and sometims not. And sometimes it stops working in the middle. One day we accidently mixed some tried out settings on both ends and MTC was working for a minute but later no more.

Anyone here who can give some hints or sources of info about LTC sync with ProTools and other DAWs inside the saem studio PC machine or how do you work around this? Since ProTools is the main software here in the studio core and we sometimes need ti chain other sessions into it we cannot work without any of thosesync modes. AS Master and as Slave.

We would appreciate any thoughts on this. Maybe we miss something basic here?

Default Re: Enable ProTools LTC Master/Slave mode for internal sync in PC

How do you make ProTools listen to LTC? Via a channel strip or plugin? There seem to be no setting or option for it to say where to listen to.
