More HD deals!!!!????

On top of the HD2/192 upgrade with 54% off, there's a UK dealer now throwing in an Eleven Rack into the bundle for £260. That's pretty much a 66% discount. I was told by the same dealer they'd also throw in Massive Pack 8!!!

Just why is Digi virtually giving this stuff away?

Before I invest in this stuff, I NEED to know what the deal is here!

We're all wondering and waiting, and hoping there is some good news for existing HD users. Digi has been good to us in the past for upgrading, God willing they will continue this form of treatment.

It's simple. It's the year end rush... with Avid hurting so much, they are trying to move as much product as they can to make their numbers look better when they meet with shareholders in Q1 of 2010.

If you've ever bought any east west stuff, you've probably been getting bombarded with emails from soundsonline.com offering similarly huge deals.

The key thing to notice, most of the deals end in Dec. Digi's discounts end around the middle of dec (the 18th I think), which means they'll be able to get everyone the new purchases before the end of the year... meaning it will count towards 2009's revenue.

Is DIGI throwing this in, or is the dealer? You have to understand that some dealers have been hurting and throwing gear out the door to get some sort of compensation back for goods on hand.

Don't know if it's Digi or the dealer. I doubt the dealer is overstocked. They've been around a LONG time here in the UK and appear to have a solid business. My first purchase from them was a pair of NS10s in 1985!!!!

They sold out of the first batch of Eleven Racks in a few days so as I say, I doubt they're overstocked.

I don't know the situation or distribution overseas.....I'm just wondering myself. There are ALWAYS deals to be had if you're in the right place at the right time if ya know what I'm sayin'.
