Sonivox virtual instuments troubleshooting

I am posting because I am having troubles installing the Sonivox orchestra companion instruments on mac. Specifically I can install the other Sonivox instruments, like the singles and the synths and the pianos, they all work fine but specifically the installers that are for the orchestral companion packs are crashing while installing.

I am trying to install on a mac running OS Sierra. The installers won't give me the option of choosing a drive for location to install the sample library. When I start the installer sometime while "writing files" the installers crash.

Worth noting that I can install the instruments as plugins without installing the samples and presets library (if I exclude it in custom installation), but if I try to instal the samples and presets part of the installer that is when it continuously crashes.

Any help appreciated or a link to any other installer downloads for these instruments because maybe a different installer version will work. these are the 1.4 version. Maybe a earlier version, but I can't find any links out there.
