Default pc switch causes massive errors

Hello peeps. I'm new to this forum and I apologize for any ignorance I may portray. Anyways.
I've been using protools 9 with an mbox 3 pro for a while...I'm about to upgrade to protoola hd native with an Omni...but that's another siutation.

I've recently rebuult my pc....I'm using the same ram...peoceasor...bur I've switxhed hard drive and motherboard...and added a more high end video card....that is all....
And NOW protools is a nightmare compared to what it was...:/
I get errors on the regular. Ill open up just 1 track with a VI plugin (Ivory) for example. And every few seconds it has I need to decrease my buffer rate or remove things from my firewire bus. If I run ten or twelve tracks with a few plugins each.BAMN runtime error. Sometimes I get random erroras about me running out of cpu power....ouch
None of this makes sense...
Beforehand I could have tracks for days. And VIs, evwn higher end samples, weren't even CLOSE to the issues theys are now. Usually have at least four or five running with tons of other tracks and plugins....without issues....and now I can do nothing.......once again....I'm about to ger a HD system. ...but I don't want more problems like this in the the future. ..

If anyone could guide me it'd be greatly apreciated....thanks for letting me be a part of your community.

Thanks for the reply.
My video card is a EVEA Geforce gtx 770 2gig DDR5

New motherboard is a MSI Z77A-G45 (military class III)

I cant say for sure on my hard drive....but it was an old one I seemed to have used in the past with my old protools 8 mbox 2 setup.

Thanks again :)

What are your harddrives rpm and cache? RAM? Other Peripherals connected to the computer? We need a lot more info as this can be caused by loads of things and sometimes it all comes down to the drives. Have you downloaded the absolute latest drivers for the Mbox? Sorry for all the questions but we need the made/model/rpm/cache size of all your hard drives aswell as how they are set up? Like which one is for recording to, which one is OS drive, do you use lots of samples and if so, do you have a dedicated sample drive or where are the samples located?

Best
Chris
