transfer rate of 66Mbytes/sec enough?
I want to upgrade my PC for the digi001.I already use a separate drive for audio. It' s a Seagate Barracuda 20Gb ATA66.The drive can support transfer rates up to 66Mb/sec (UDMA4) in Ultra ATA/66 mode.I don't no about the average seek time.
Will this be enough for 24 tracks ?(24bit,48000hz) |

Re: transfer rate of 66Mbytes/sec enough?
one of my hdds is a seagate 30Gig ATA66 (not my audio drive) but will work fine. tip: don't partition it or you'll see a performance drop.
take care... ------------------ Сgî‡å£ Wàvèƒôrm
