Default Renaming clips in order along the time line?

I have about 1500 clips strung along the time line that I have cut up from at 3hr file. I want them labelled in order. When I use the rename feature in strip silence the numbering is int consistent. In the end I need to export them as wav files.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Scott

The new batch rename function will order names with left to right and top to bottom as the guiding order. Then export as usual. Good luck!

I think 12.8.2:

It's really good. We've been needing this.

If you haven't used this, it's worth noting that it just renames the clips in the session, it doesn't actually rename the files themselves.

Yes! Batch renaming using timeline order is a HUGE upgrade. There's lots of features for renaming including adding prefixes, suffixes, numbering schemes, pretty much anything you would need. And it does it instantly
